The Sleepy Town of Solothurn Switzerland

Here is a photo of the sleepy and relaxing town of Solothurn Switzerland. The town mainly consisted of riverside cafes, family restaurants, and small marketplaces and churches. Specific elements of the town will definitely put your mind at ease. The only sounds heard in Solothurn are the occasional hummings of passing motor scooters, the calm sound of flowing water from the central river, or the distant sounds of a babies cry from a nearby window sill. Other than that, there was the rich smell of cigarettes and watery beer smell if that makes sense. Usually back home the smell of cigarettes were an instant turn off. But here it had a certain type of sensation I will never forget. It almost seemed as if the people smoking cigarettes gave the town an aura of social connection and friendliness between the locals. I had never felt back at home in the US.

Art in the form of Nature

This a photo which was taken at the beautiful Grouse Lake. To get to the lake you must trek on a decently long and steep hike but it is definitely worth it. While I took this photo the temperature was at a cool 70 Degrees Fahrenheit, the water was extremely glassy with wind trails brushing against the surface of the water making small ripples along the surface, and the only sound there was the constant ambient noise of the forests pine trees howling from the wind. This was for sure a moment that made me appreciate nature.

Kite Attack in America's true last "Small Beach Town"

This is a very fun event which takes place annually on both the North and South sides of the pier in Seal Beach California. The small beach town has a central main street in line with the pier allowing those at nearby restaurants or bars to relax and enjoy the sights. Anyone can bring their kites and enter the organized competition held by the city, or they can bring their own kites just for leisure.

Spiaggio di San Fruttuoso, Liguria Italy

This beautiful local cove along the coastline of Liguria Italy is definetely a hidden treasure indeed. With the ambient buzzing and chirping of insects and birds in the surrounding forest, and the relaxing tone of nearby conversations, along with the crystal clear topaz colored water here, it is definitely heaven like. About 75 yards offshore lies an underwater Jesus statue about 30 ft underwater.

The Camogli Fisherman, Italy

Daily activities done by Camogli locals

Off the coast of Camogli, Italy

A beautiful wood double masted sailboat anchored a few hundred yards off of the Camogli beach. As the salty smell of the air and the occasional squawking of overhead seagulls added to the scene, it created a relaxing sense of nautical beauty.

The 5th town of the Cinque Terra, Riomaggiore Italy

Just one of the five total towns of the Cinque Terra. Riomaggiore. Intertwined between all of the colorful apartments lies small shops and cafes which are all connected by a seemingly endless maze of uneven staircases. Since the town was centered mainly on the sale of fish and olives which were locally grown. The town of Riomaggiore had marketplace type of feeling which made it seem energetic but also laid back and calm while the towns old locals wandered around doing their daily routines.

Chinatown, LA

Not a "fancy" place but it definetly holds plenty of memories.

Santa Margherita Ligure, Italy

A absolute magnificent location in Liguria Italy, Santa Margherita Ligure. The amazingly clear water is topped off with several insanely expensive Yachts and Speedboats.

The Duomo di Pisa

This is a photo taken from inside the main corridor of the Duomo di Pisa. With its magnificent Romanesque Architecture, standing inside creates a strong sense of religious grandeur. After observing this photo, the woman standing by the entrance of the church creating that silhouette and the gold ceiling gives the photo that mysterious mood of wonder and awe.
